“Where learning begins”
Kids 0 and Kids 1 (4 to 6 years old): It is essential that children begin exposure to the new language as early as possible. The youngest children are at a stage of development in which it is essential that they hear the sounds of the language, as they will be able to naturally assimilate those sounds that, because they are not present in our native language, are very difficult to acquire over time. Through games and an active methodology, they will be continuously exposed to the language. They will learn to discriminate sounds and acquire the most basic vocabulary that will be expanded in the following stages. We begin to teach them how to read in English, since the letters in this language do not have only one sound, as is the case in Spanish, for example, and this will facilitate the assimilation of vocabulary.
Kids 2 and Kids 3 (ages 7 to 11): Based on the natural method of language learning, our students will acquire the language in the same way as they have done with their native language: they will listen (listening) and repeat (speaking), read (reading) and finally, they will learn to produce in writing. At this stage they will increase their range of vocabulary and begin to work more on production skills (speaking and writing).
